Youth Service Center began at both schools July 1, 2007. The mission of the center is to eliminate non-cognitive barriers to student success, including: meeting basics needs (clothing, food, shelter, etc.), needing family or student support, mental health counseling, drug/alcohol prevention and intervention, crisis referral assistance, transitioning schools, etc. We are here to help families and students address struggles in their lives so the students are able to succeed and stay focused in their learning environment.

The mission of the Youth Service Centers and Family Resource Centers is to enhance students' abilities to succeed in school by developing and sustaining partnerships that promote:

Center Components
The Youth Service Center focuses on six main components:
- Referrals to health services and community resources
- Employment counseling, training, and placement
- Summer and part-time job development
- Drug and alcohol abuse counseling
- Family crisis and mental health counseling
- Educational Support
